Assist non-accompanied minors
A non-accompanied minor went through a migration before living in the European country. Split from his family, he is taking care of by social services. The tools developed in the Philia+ project aims to help the social worker to take into account the peculiar context of this public, and its special needs. The unique context of non-accompanied minors is a source of difficulties, but also a source of richness.
Assist Roma communities
In Romania, Roma communities are a national minority. This classification allowed a specific protection. In Europe, the integration of Roma communities raises several questions, particularly in child protection and social care (high rate of unemployment, difficulties to find a home, etc.). With the tools included in the Philia+ project, the goal for the social worker is to accompany those young persons, respecting their identities: ethnicity, culture, language, religion.
